Gratuitous cute kid pic!

cute kid

It’s Thursday, which means it’s time for another gratuitous cute kid pic!

Anti-Racist Parent Rebecca writes:

“This picture was taken at my moms house as Lauren (6) and Jacob (2) were meeting their baby sister Norah for the very first time. They were so excited and so gentle with her. This shot perfectly captured that sweet moment.”

Aww, that’s one for the album!! That’s a nice spread on ages too.. hopefully the sibling rivalry stays to a low roar.

But really, you’re all killing me with the baby pics! I keep going, “I want one!/ Oh no, I’m getting one, now what!” over and over…

    Lyonside,

Are you telling us something here?

Dolls and dollbabies to you, Rebecca. This photo reminds me of the impromptu think-tank session that my children and I had when I was having my last child. They wondered: what will he be like? whose fingers will he have? what color his eyes? how many toes? (my children were six, four and three, so you know).

That sense of wonder and amazement leaps out of this photo. Give big sis a candy cane for keeping lil’ brother’s fingers from poking the baby!

    Congratulations to your family.

Hi…I’m the mom of these beautiful children. I have to say that my favorite part about that picture is that Lauren is doing just that….keeping Jacob from poking her eyeballs out…….. she even did it one handed. I am ways smile when I see that……

Thanks for the nice words about my kiddo’s

    Bek!

I was at your blog last week and my husband walked past, and glanced at the computer. “The Crazy ‘What?’ he inquired.

In that moment, the crazy was the look on my face. He watches Law & Order with me every night, though, and always knows what’s going on.

    Take care, -K

The crazy would be….. all the crazy. The title came from at time when I was frustrated about some situation at work that was, well, crazy. My husband says this to me a lot. We will never understand “the crazy” and so we should just ignore it or else I will always be mad. :-) Crazy is crazy.

This was a good lesson to learn BEFORE we adopted. Thanks.

P.S. Did you know that you can find an episode of Law and Order at almost every hour of the day on cable. Heaven.
