Gratuitous cute kid pic!

It’s Thursday, which means it’s time for another gratuitous cute kid pic!

Congratulations to our very own Anti-Racist Parent columnist Susan Lyons-Joell! She just gave birth to a healthy baby girl last week! :) Sue writes:

“Six-day old Jessica is bonding with her Pop-Pop. He’s wearing an Eagles shirt to start training her early. She’s smiling because she knows she’ll have to be a NJ Devil’s fan in the off-season.”

If you’d like to submit a pic to us, please email us at team@loveisntenough.com. Please include a caption we can use, and let us know what name (first name only or pseudonym is fine) we should use for you, the parent. Thanks!

  1. Congrats, Lyonside! Welcome to the club! :) (You’ll never sleep again! No, just kidding! Well, maybe not. Heh.)

  2. Jae Ran says:

Congratulations, Lyonside! She’s adorable. Enjoy every minute.

  3. CJK says:

Oh, congratulations! What a little cutie she is. And look at all that hair!

  4. Kathy says:

She has such a beautiful smile. Congrats.

  5. Sewere says:

Congratulations to you and your husband Lyonside… And a big bear hug of a welcome to Jessica…

  6. Kim says:

    Mama!

    You had a baby! Alright!

I am soooo happy for you, for your hubby, for the little beauty with the big cheeks.

Look everyone, Lyonside is making the world a better place, and exponentially so…all that energy, smarts, heart and love to transmit to little baby Jessica. (Now that’s commitment, lady.)

  7. Denise says:

    What a doll! Congratulations!

  8. Lyonside says:

Thanks all! LOL – it’s grwat to finally be a fully qualify as an ARP ;)

Kim, thank you, but I fully expect her to teach me as much as I teach her – after all, the first ultrasound image we saw of her had her head tucked down and one fist in the air. I’m betting that defiance bodes well for her future! I figure while I was asking, “Why?” at 7 YO, she’ll be going, “But that’s not fair!” at 6.

  9. Yeaaa! The first ARP baby! What a gorgeous girl.

If you ever need any mommy advice (from someone who still has vivid memories of the first six weeks that is…), I’m just a click away.

Congratulations and best wishes to all of you!
