Introducing ARP special correspondent, Colin Bowden

by Carmen Van Kerckhove

I’m excited to announce that starting today, Colin Bowden will be a special correspondent for Anti-Racist Parent! He will write one post per week, linking to some of our favorite recent posts from other parenting blogs and other pertinent articles. If you would like to suggest a link to him, please email tips@loveisntenough.com. Here’s more about him:

Colin Bowden is a young college student at the University of Wisconsin and he’s more than a little interested in such public interests as anti-racism. He is a regular commenter at Racialicious and he works as a volunteer for a student public interest group at school, fighting poverty, attacking racism, cleaning up our environment and local elections. You know, a good day’s work.

Please join me in welcoming him to the Anti-Racist Parent team!

    Hi, Colin.

Good to see you here. You’re so astute and just a little bit fiery…can’t wait to hear your voice on what’s going on with that other half of the world (awake, and ready to party).

    Welcome.

  7. Kathy says:

Kim, I am ready to party too. Welcome
    Colin!!!!

  8. Colin says:

Thanks for the nice words, Kim! I never thought of myself as astute, so that’s a good thing, indeed. And I am a UW student, so I’m always ready to party.

NOTE: I’m just glad no one’s said anything about the picture. It’s the best one I have on this computer, but it’s still awful.

  9. Welcome, Colin! Looking forward to hearing your voice.

  10. Alexandra says:

    Welcome to the family :-)
