From Associated Content: The 2010 American Girl “Girl of the Year” doll has been announced and, despite some speculation that the doll would be a little more diverse than in the past, this doll appears to be more of the same. Lanie Holland, the new 2010 Girl of the Year doll, is blonde and green eyed. Like all of American Girl’s “Girl of the Year Doll 2010″: More of the Same the other American Girl characters she’s a nice girl with substance. She’s into nature and recycling and comes with a green and blue rugby dress. So don’t get me wrong- I like Lanie. But I can’t help but be a little disappointed. Read more…
